I think its getting stupid now. Wilson is not as bad as u r all making out. Ok, so he makes a few bad decisions who doesnt. At the end of the day he won us the cup last year. He got us 3rd last year he has got murray back with help from landsdown and he gave us and 11 game winning run. i no we aint bin peforming recently but u cant blame danny 4 that. The players have to take sum responsibility for the way they play.

Ah, but we DO support the lads through thick and thin. That's why we have these FORUMS you see to rid us of all the bile and negative thoughts that our manager has bestowed on us. If it wasn't for the forums we'd ALL need staitjackets and counselling by now. So I'm very sorry young lady but as our learned manager once said "toughtitty!".

ps

If any first-time visitor asks me what's the best way to get to Ashton Gate next week, then I'll reply, "drunk!!!"

Give him a chance!!!!! Are you kidding?? He has had four bloody years in charge , each time we have said "next season we will do it" and every season we have bottled it near the end , he has spent around 1.5 million on players in his time here , some of the players he has bought are quality , but because of his stupid tactics ,favouritism and poor man management they arent performing to their best ability. Sorry but he has had more than a chance and this season is his final one.

I have never insulted or slagged Wilson off, infact, I have always said that on the games we lose it's down to the players on the pitch, as they are the ones with the ball at their feet.

But, i'm affraid that now I AM putting the last two losses at least down to him, why play our players out of their natural positions?. Is it a tactic to make the opposing side think we are crap?, then suddenly swap them back to make them look allot better?.

DW is the person who tells them what position they have to play, remember Harpel Singe (sp) he was brilliant when he first played, in his rightfull position, then DW decides to swap him to the other side?. I think Roberts and Miller should be upfront, but what we the fans think on this does not count. why not pick 11 of them and ask them where they want to play.

And why bring Peacock straight back into a game from the start after being out for the past 2? why wasn't on the bench then bought on a sub?.

One thing I would like to know, if it does not all work out, and after the money that SL paid out on Scott, (and it's lovely to see him back), is there any money left in te pot to pay DW's contract up and let him go at the end of the season? or was this all used up to bring Scott home and leave us with a manager that seems to want to make a laughing stock of us?. :@

how many chances do we give him, season after season i've read

the ''Get Off Wilsons Back, give him a chance'' but we are still here

in div.2 back to square one and looking like another play off

failure team

the 11 game winning run we played crap in 9 of them and i took the points

but it was still there to see we were not playing well and now the paper has

come off the cracks and it shows how bad we are playing, wilson may be

a relly nice bloke but if your not up to the job YOU HAVE TO GO..

we just have not progressed , plymouth for years were a side in div.3

flirting with the drop now they are having 2 good season and WILL be in

div.1, same with brighton they always were a side in div.3

flirting with the drop now they are looking towards div.1 again while all

this has been going on we just float around the top 7 of div2...

He is the only manager I know who has been capable of draining any ability and confidence out of every player that he has brought to Ashton Gate.

hmmm, my first response was going to RUBBISH! What are you on about.

But then I thought I should try and justify it a little, even if you don't..........

Peacock - never seems short on confidence to me, just lacking the goals at the moment

Wilkshire/Miller/Goodfellow - all playing ok and Miller playing well, all settling in and need time, so confidence? haven't noticed a lack of it :D Ability there in bucket loads, no problem...........

Roberts - ok dip in form, played on right in not preferred position, but he played ok there and showed he could do it. I would hazard a guess that his confidence may well be more dented by the morons in our crowd who hurl verbal abuse at him everytime he gets the ball!

I could continue but that'll do for now

Peacock is lacking goals BECAUSE he is short on confidence!

As for Miller/Goodfellow, you dont think they are short on confidence? Think about this......Your manager buys you for a substantial amout on money on the basis that he thinks you are better than what he already has at the club. He plays you out of position (MG) and continues to start with you one week, then drop you the next. If that wasnt enough to dent your confidence, in the last game, he brings on a LEFT BACK academy product to play in your 'specialised' left midfield position in the case of Goodfellow AND, in the case of Miller, shoves our worst defender up front for the final minutes!!

Not short on confidence? Your having a laugh! Thats enough to make them doubt their own ability.

So three, and lookijng increasingly like FOUR seasons in charge, and we're no closer to Div 1 than when her arrived. Just HOW long do you intend on giving him????How long does he need????

Based on the money invested in players he wants, (and increasingly dont play!!), just how long can the club sustain it??? How long before fans drift away, and never return????

Most of the players have been brought in to the club by him, or put into the first team (reluctantly) by him.

Tactics are down to him.

Baffling substitutions & line ups are down to him.

Bull**** excuses, they're from his lips, no-one elses.

Managers, manage, and stand or fall on RESULTS. If they lose the faith of fans, players, and board, or any of the above, then you gotta consider their position.

He's got to go, hes taken us as far as he's going to, so rather, than going into freefall like the North Bristol losers get rid, and get someone else in.
