samo
Man City finally beaten today and Wednesday have shipped 10 goals in three league games. The tale of our team will be told on Sky television this week, but after an unbeaten start to the season and with Trundle having found his feet this could be a very interesting 7 days.We must be the unfancied team for both matches, but then after Brian Laws' impact on Wednesdays fortunes last year who'd have thought they'd be in the position they are right now?Wednesday have a 'nothing to gain; everything to lose' match at home to Hartlepool in the cup whilst we have a 'glamour tie' versus Man City for us and our players to enjoy. Should be made even more interesting if there is any truth to the Darren Byfield rumours...
Gaffer
Good post, definitely an exciting week ahead, and it's a great time to be a city fan. Today was great and to have someone in your team like Trundle will inspire the rest of the squad! Not too bothered about Man City, but it will be nice to show our stuff to a wide audience. however, if we start well against sednesday, their crowd will start to get on their backs and we could steal another three points. Add Sproule and McCombe next week...and we could have an awesome side.
citylad21
I hope the increased exposure on the box doesn't have greedy Premiership bosses casting their beady eye at us.
