It is a feature of Gary Johnson's team that they do not capitulate like City teams of the past. After LT's starter yesterday, the Iron equalised quickly, and in previous times, heads might have dropped and the body language would have screamed :'defeated'.

Not this team and this was a feature of our promotion last season and our cup run.

Rare but memorable comebacks like Mansfield away notwithstanding, this team eclipses it's predecessors by fighting, battling and being fit and professional for the entire 90+ minutes.

We have had technically more gifted players at AG before who lacked spirit and grit, but I am comnvinced now, after 3 league games that we will do better than survive because of the collective mentality GJ has engendered in the squad.Players like McIndoe, Trundle and the outstanding Elliot have added to what we already had, and with the likes of Brooks, Noble, McCombe, Sproule imminently returning to the fold, there is much to look forward to.

Forza City, Pride of the West!!!

Its amazing to think, that a mere 24 months ago we were near the bottom of League 1, and still with "that" Swansea game to come

How times change. Thats the thing to remember, if times get a little tough this year, remember how far we have come
