Mr Roper
I did think as he did it & as Weale picked it up that is was ok but wondered for a second if the ref would blow anyway.I think it was risky simply because the ref could have got it wrong.Think I saw at least one Scunny player raise his arm to appeal for a free kick. andy g
Ok, now I'm confused as well...Are we saying that Jamie McAllister is a footballing genius for being one of the few people in the world to know that rule ?Or that everyone knows it (apart from thickos and gasheads) ? A Horse With No Name
Ok, now I'm confused as well...Are we saying that Jamie McAllister is a footballing genius for being one of the few people in the world to know that rule ?Or that everyone knows it (apart from thickos and gasheads) ?As has already been pointed out, if anyone is the genius it must be Weale. Mcallister only wanted to put the ball back to the keeper the best way he could at the time, which was with his knee, or thigh as I thought at the time. It may be that he didn,t know the rules and expected Weale to kick it.
