punnett
In a straight swap with some Chinese guy according to todays mirror, does that mean we get no sell-on money
Scrumpylegs
Looks like we might have been stiched up here. Obviously a straight swap involving no cash must surely mean that we get NOTHING from this deal!!! We've been done out of a MILLION quid here by those sneaky underhand toe-rags at Fulham !! Looking forward to enjoying their relegation and almost inevitable spiral into oblivion when Al-Fayeed gets bored /moves on.
City Ben
I'd imagine that the sell on is based on the value of any future deal, not how that value is actually paid (cash, players etc). What it does mean is that the clubs could undervalue the deal - ie say they were both worth only £500k rather than £5m - and City would get less out of it.It's probably not the ideal situation for us!
