Hats off to the groundstaff, when half of the Premiership is cutting up and looking brown in December.Ashton Gate still looks green and true to the end.Oh and the slight slope by the corner flag ( Dolman. Attyeo side ) is legendary.But I thought the big thick horazontle rectangles looked borng on Sky the other night.Not even loads of fancy little ones just BIG THICK ones!Maybe now we are in the Championship and on TV more we should have some fancy patterns.Continental style right here in Bristol. Make Ashton Gate's playWould it be possible to buy our great groundstaff a more clever Lawn Mower Mr Chairman Sir?Fancy circles, Diamonds on the grass, Circles in the centre circle....oh it would be so beautiful! BCFCfan Posted August 31, 2007 Report Share Posted August 31, 2007 I'm not sure if the new surface (which inlcudes strands of some man made material and grass) is mown like a pure grass surface.
