Championship Squad

Due to us being in the Championship this season, we get included in the Actim Index stats along with the Premiership. It turns out that our good start has been very much noted. We have 4 players in the top 100, in Scutt Murray, Lee Trundle, Jamie McCallister and Lee Johnson.

The positions of 2 of those would put them into a squad of 16 for the whole of the championship, those being Scott Murray and Lee Trundle. Murray so far being 6th (The 3rd best midfielder so far) and Trundle being 15th(9th best striker so far).

Jamie McCallister is a very respectablee 29th with Lee Johnson also doing well in 83rd. All 4 of these players are above some quality names in this level of English football and it just goes to show that you don't always have to have the most talented individual players in the league to do well.

Without looking I would hope there is no more than 4 defenders above Macca in order for two to feature in a squad of 16. As 9th best striker Trundle would clearly not feature.
