Spoke to Rich last Thursday! As l've said before on here before l don't really talk to him about City (l feel uncomfortable doing it) but l did ask him if he was enjoying it up north? He said ''Yes its good up here''

Also asked him when he was coming home to which he replied ''l don't know fella? l'm just enjoying playing at the moment''

Thats all l wanted to ask really, he knows lm a City fan and hate touching on the subject.... apart from teasing him about his goal he scored the other week..... blatant cross..........

Sorry its not alot but he doesnt even know himself yet...

At the end of the day its down to the player himself .. If he thinks he can do better than Bristol City then let him go and find a better team.. However he is silly listening to his agent who has obviously promised him riches far greater than he can get @ BS3 ...

The fact is he would have been a regular in a Championship team this season but his absence has opened the door to Fontaine who has stepped forward and risen to the challenge and proved that he is the better footballer..

Unlucky Keogh for one who showed so much promise you might have just blown your chance to make a name for yourself in Bristol listening to your agents bad advice.... Good Luck in Div 1

I think you have hit the nail on the head, whatever the reason Fonts has taken the challenge of replacing McCombe, which at the end of last season I would have thought Keogh would have got the nod... have a feeling we may not see much more of RK, which in my opinion is a big loss as he was always an entertaining player and friendly off the pitch. At the end of the day it will all be what is best for Richard himself . . .

Now my money would be on you being right here, and hitting the nail on the head.....however....

...We do not know what the terms of his new contract would have been? For all you know it may have only been an extra year on the exsisting one, maybe he wants a bit more stability and wants to get a 3 yers contract? maybe his money would stay the same, when surely he deserves some kind of pay rise? Who knows what sort of clauses Lansdown or whoever wanted to throw in?

The simple thing is, we just don't know what was on the table....so its unfair to really comment on his ambition etc. At the end of the day, a footballers career is short, and like anyone, they have to earn a living
