Knee Surgery

Yeah that seems right, the doc does work in Webbs clinic so I might be go there.

Unfortunetly cus the knee is weak I get exercise with it.

Any more info about it would be great.

My advice would be to pay to see a physio. It will be money very well spent. The physios up at the JW clinic are dear but are specialists for knee recovery. If you can't afford them then I'll try to find out where people I know went to.

You need to be assesed for your start point before anyone can give you good and safe information.

My accident was Feb 2006 and I've saw two different phyisos since then but they've been working on the fact my ligament was there and fine. So nothing they tried worked and I only found today there is actually no ligament there!

Did you go private for yours? If so, how much because I've been quoted 'around four grand'

I didn't have one. A couple of friends have. Some with Mr Webb, and one on the NHS. The guy who had it done on the NHS actually had his done at a private hospital as part of the waiting list iniative. One friend is currently on the waiting list and it's about 4 months BUT you have to push your GP to get you signed up with a consultant appointment and then be extra nice to the consultant and his secretary who will have an affect on the time.

I know a few people who have had it and used to work somewhere where J Webbs clinic was based.

Get your muscles around your knee very strong before surgery and be prepared for a lot of rehab.

I got my operation next week and don't wanna miss too many games. So do you roughly how long I'd be unable to go down AG?

Cheers.
