Just saw this on sky sports.comNorwich have confirmed that several 'high-calibre individuals' have expressed an interest in the club's managerial vacancy. Peter Grant parted company with the struggling Championship side earlier this week after a dismal start to the season saw them slide into the bottom three. Monday's 1-0 defeat to previously winless QPR was the final straw for Grant and the Canaries have now gone six matches without finding the net. But chief executive Neil Doncaster is delighted with the initial interest in taking charge, and while a swift appointment is expected, he insists the club will not be rushing into any decision. InterestDoncaster said: "There are a lot of high calibre individuals who have expressed an interest in this position and that is not surprising. "We are not naive enough to think that there is a perfect manager out there. Certain managers are right at certain times for certain clubs. "We are keen to make an appointment as soon as we can - but we are certainly not going to be rushing it purely because we have got an AGM coming up next Thursday."
