TinnionForEngland
I have been told through a source nearly as good as Danny himself (his close cousin) that he is set to join Rovers this week, i said i had heard this news and expected it to be on loan, but i have been told it will be permanent, thoughts? ciderup
That will help the profits of the Waterfront establishments then!In all seriousness, if he is still the player that left us then they will have signed a good 'un!U REDS
TinnionForEngland
That will help the profits of the Waterfront establishments then!In all seriousness, if he is still the player that left us then they will have signed a good 'un!U REDSFunnily enough she has said he has curbed his drinking but has had a fall out with Phil Brown at Hull, apparently an easy man to fall out with, i think he's lost his way a bit after his injury will be interesting to see how he plays for the gas, hopefully poorly. PhatWill
Erm it's in today's Evening Post. What a comical signing. The lad obviously has ambition going to the gas... NAAAT
Nibor
This signing effectively is Coles admitting that Tinnion was right and he is a total waster.
leepeacock's50phead
I posted something on here a few months ago quoting the Hull fand saying how poor he was.I remeber the time he was running over cars down baldwin street with plenty of beers on board only to be spotted by a season ticket holder who reported it to City but I guess Wilson was also p*ssed at the time.First Easter, now Coles, the Gas are seeming very desperate. bristolcityup
Crums I remember meet ing Danny coles once as he came into my work place with two girls who could only have been about 16, had a real bad attitude aswell throwing his credit card at me to pay for things..him and Phillips will make a great pairing! BristolCity1992
Quite funny as Phillips and Coles were two serious targets for abuse while City players from Rovers fans. Good signing I reckon will do OK. Wont get them up though as proved with us.
Show Me The Money!
Leaving us to join a Championship club. Now here we are 2nd in the Championship and where is Danny going?http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/7069436.stm
samo
and where is Danny going?Nowhere fast is the answer to that question. He'd be better staying with Wilson at Hartlepool. But then that wouldn't allow him to sit in his comfort zone for the remainder of his most likely uneventful career.
Sir Colby-Tit
Well, he is a dirty gashead. Match made in heaven.
Barrs Court Red
Now him and Phillips can chinwag about how hard done by they are.Lets not forget what the final straw was with Coles, during a trip away.I still think that c**k who used to claim to be his friend on here was actually him. swindlered
Complete waste of talent. He was excellent the season we lost to Cardiff in the play-offs. Had he been prepared to work harder at his game then no reason he couldn't have had a successful career in the Championship.

Gazred
Saw him in the Severn Shed tonight with two older guys, wasn't there long, just a main course and off, so he is in Bristol. League one is about his level i reckon, certainly had potential but not fulfilled.

GrahamC
For understandable reasons I don't follow League One football so closely these days.Is he the same bloke who was turned inside out for Bas Savage's last minute winner for Brighton last week? downendcity
Well the pubs in town will be happy!Where he can meet up with his old chums (Flapper, Leapy, Tommy Doc etc etc) and laugh together at how badly Bristol City have fared without them. They will also be able to compare notes and congratulate each other on how their respective careers have flourished and soared to new heights since they left the stifling confines of BCFC!
