atyeoboy17
Has anyone else noticed that Mick McCarthy has admitted that the above named is not settling well into the Wolves team, and cannot adapt to their style of play. Why don't we try for him on loan, with a view to a permanent deal.Must be worth a shout.Thoughts ? Dan Of The Dolman
Don't think we have a suitable gippo site for him and I think we doing more than fine as we are.

Tunley Legend
WHY?a) do we actually need a striker?b) if he's not good enough for Wolves? is he going to be actually good enough for us?I'm not saying we should sign him but things are not as black and white as you make out. Marvin Elliott was not considered "good enough" by Millwall on many occasions last season yet he would appear on current form to be easily one of the best ball winning midfield players in the Championship. Eastwood could come down here and start scoring goals for fun regardless of how he is playing for Wolves.

Bet they're gutted now.
kidder_wolf
If played every week he would score 25 goals this season. But MM doesnt think he works hard enough for the team. Keogh works for the team we need a player like eastwood who will take on a few players and shoot.Mick should have known his style of play when we signed him. Its just another **** up by our manager. formerly known as ivan
b) if he's not good enough for Wolves? is he going to be actually good enough for us?wasnt cureton seen not good enough for swindon in league 2 before he signed for colchester and finished championship top goal scorer last season?i think he could be a good signing but not before we offload enoch and jevons if they are not part of garys plans. wonder if rovers want another city reject? He's never lived anywhere else and rejected several big moves away from Southend for that very reason. He may be worth a look on loan but I doubt that would solve his homesickness problem... bristolcitysweden
Reading between the lines Mick McCarty is saying very politely that Eastwood is 5h1t3Cant adapt to their style of play indeed, classic! What a joke.. If you buy a player for more than £2 000 000 you should adapt your style to of play to his. A very good player with a left foot that is incredible. Watched Southend v Gillingham (on the way to Bristol of course) the year Shrimpers won promotion to Championship. Did MM make his exam? If this is true he shoulden't have. Next lesson on Saturday.
