Dollymarie Posted November 3, 2007 Report Share Posted November 3, 2007 Well I have just sat here and counted the last few pennies, and frankly I am staggered.Today the city fans have raised a massive £359.42!!!!!!!I was expecting about £200 but am blown away by how much we actually collected.I would like to say a massive thankyou to Vicky (Beau45) and Chivs who helped me collect the money. I had to swap a kiss with someone for a donation, but it was worth it.The City fans who travelled today have done yourselves proud and raised such a brilliant amount in memory of Nick, the money will be going towards the charities his family have chosen.Well done everyone and thankyou very much.Dolls xx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What's the plan Tuesday, are you doing a collection in local pubs?I will have to check I think the club wanted it kept in the DEH, plus I struggled to get helpers for today so how we would do all the home turnstiles I don't know. This has generated a further £452, so the cost of the floral tributes was more than covered and both charities will receive a sizable donation.
