no1cityfan_tucks
after this season? If he does not get another contact, will he be offered a coaching role?He doesnt seem to be as involved as i personally would like as the season has gone on so far but that could change.Just thinking of his long term future, as he IMO is potential future city manager if he learns the trade (and if he doesnt do a tinman).Any thought? devonrobin
all it takes is one injury or a red card and hes back in the side.i think hes still got a very big part to play this season
Nibor
I can see him staying at the club as a youth coach or a scout once his playing days are done. He may well get another year contract anyway.
fka dagest
I've no idea if he has the right credentials to become manager (or even a coach), but personally I'd be happy for someone else to try him out first. Romantic attachment to an aging player left us with a big problem last time.
tin
He's still got a big part to play this season and he seems to be first reserve for Sproule, which is no mean feet given the right-wingers at our disposal. As for a future City manager, I'd be very surprised. He reminds me of Beadle in the sense that he's a good character in the dressing room but is prone to socialising a bit too much off it, so I for one would be very surprised if that happened. bh_red
has proved to be a key member of the squad so far this season and expect that to continue as the season goes on, whether he gets a new contract at the end of the season, I'd say as long as he has stayed fit and injury free, then YES
Dorset_Cider
Having seen Scott play in the reserves...... down here at Dorset (B'mth for the game) Oh and did I mention that AFCB beat the gas at home by two goals.... hahhaahahahhahahahHe did impress with his overall fitness but his finishing was a bit poor...... that said he came on as a sub the league game after and scored!Scott can do a job......... his time is getting closer but he can still do a job as I say...... Yet if he did a tinman and took the job to early it would definatly all go wrong. I have to agree, being prone to going out alot would need to change a little (i.e less in the public eye) to become a manager.

I have to agree, being prone to going out alot would need to change a little (i.e less in the public eye) to become a manager. He would have plenty of time to learn his trade.. Gary Johnson wont be going anywhere for quite a few years (fingers crossed). He can start at the bottom (no pun to GJ there..) and move on up when he is ready. I don't think City would want to let him go as he is such a good motivational figure in the dressing room. And i still think he has got at least another year or two left in him as a player - even if it is as an impact player..

bartolona
Scotty has to be kept on even if it's just for his comedy value, always up for a laugh. Did anyone notice him during the h/t entertainment at Wolves?
