Gaffer
Just watched the Rovers goals on The Championship and was totally shocked about how far off the pace Danny Coles looked. He looks slow, unfit, overweight, halfhearted and was at fault for both of the goals. What a total shadow of the player he was when we had him, the guy who marked Earnshaw out of 4 games in one season. Lesson to be learned for Richard Keogh? One good season does not constitute a career, has Keogh put his career back by not signing the contract with us?Also, (without using the words pot kettle and black), Danny Coles looked fat!! Red Cloud
having sucked up to the gash like flapper did it was quite nice to see him have a howler - apparently he had a massive ovation but then being ex-city what else would you expect! Maybe it's their inferiority complex shining through...
CiderHider
We seem to have a reputation for getting the best from players, whats thats down to i'm unsure, but when you consider the form of players who left AG (offen to better things ) its easy to see.CareyThe Docsuper ScottGoldbourne (well alright hes doing ok)Lita (yeah yeah ok)Anypay ColesPhillips (dbl agent)Cotts MillerBrownSuper Scott and Carey came back better players, they knew AG was home.prolly missed a few, but a pattern does form.(This does not included players Tinnion bought, who mostly sucked!) jimtastic
To be fair, hasn't he just come back after a year out injured?Hope you're not quite so quick to judge Brooker when he comes back....
Redbarn
To be fair, hasn't he just come back after a year out injured?Hope you're not quite so quick to judge Brooker when he comes back....If and when Steve Brooker returns to first team, we all know GJ won't play him anywhere near the 1st team (apart from training) until he IS good and ready to compete again. As regards Danny Coles, I like to think he is still a Red, thereby giving Boremuff the win on Saturday, perhaps he was playing with crutches? old spot
To be fair, hasn't he just come back after a year out injured?Hope you're not quite so quick to judge Brooker when he comes back....He's been out on loan to hartlepool so he has got match practice in so he should be fit and sharp enough for 3rd division football!!! Plus, he had a whole pre season too, so only his desire is holding him back!! Think only Gerald Ratner has made more career mistakes!
stortfordred
Ah, you got there just before me! Plus, he had a whole pre season too, so only his desire is holding him back!! Think only Gerald Ratner has made more career mistakes!Yes but he referred to his own firm's product as krap; referring to the blue few, that would now be entirely accurate. As for what's holding him back, Cider, cider, cider! Dorset_Cider
Perhaps he is still a Red and simply gifted boremuff the goals! Nope AFC Bournemouth........ have a bunch of kids playing for them...... no money to spend on the team and have a geezer from reading(?) on loan to them (he played a blinder) ..........they still continue to try to play a passing game and to top it all they, as bottom of the league 1, still manage to beat the gas at home (more than we did last time)Gifted by Danny C ....... no ....... totally crap team yes and beaten by a far better side that might yet still go down this year. With any luck it will be AFCB that send the gas down........ again YAY people that would be fine
