Red Robin
Tonight we watched a city side that matched a ex premiership side for 89 minutes, and to be fair the game could have gone either way.Charlton by far the best side first half, city by far the best second half.A pulsating game, end to end.At the final whistle i was gutted we lost.Remember this side was premiership last season,we gave them a good game, they certainly were lucky getting 3 points.Reality is it shows how far this football club have come in GARY JOHNSONS TENURE.Well done lads no shame tonight, you can hold our heads high.Roll on Ipswich and probably the hardest game of the season at portman road.Again we have played one of the favourites for promotion, given them a cracking game, another day we would have won.Keep on playing like we did and we will win more than lose.again well done. Bristolian76
Totally agree, we gave everything tonight and didnt deserve that, just that bit of quality weve had most of the season was lacking, as you say that work ethic will win us more than we lose in this division definetly. Riaz
Disagree about end to end. I thought it was a typical boring nil nil, which Charlton luckily nicking it at the end.
Midge
Agree with first post, worth a point last night, but as everyone knows this division is the best in the country as one moment of quality from any team can win a match.Loads of hard work from our players really fought for each other and for that reason alone I wasn't to downbeat last night.I always say that I can accept losing games if the players give 100%,which they did, also I believe we don't get much luck in mid-week games all three of our losses this season have been night matches and our two home defeats at the end of last season were tuesdays
