In the finals we'll be drawn against Italy the group stages and heroically lose to them in the first game. We'll then win our next two games against piss poor opposition and a state of hysteria will the surface that this is our year - we go through to the quarters and face the Dutch.In this game Walcott will be red carded and we'll loose on penalties after having a perfectly good goal ruled out in extra time. England will play heroically (again) and the nation will morn how good a side potentially we could have been. It will be 42 years since our one and only tournement win and the scotts and other minor 3rd world home countries (wales) will remind us.The sun and the mirror will call for McClarens head while also giving the personal home address of the spanish ref and post pictures of his wife. We said this with Sven though "Phew he's gone" and we ended up with bloody McLaren. If McLaren does get the sack, we won't appoint Mourinho or Wenger or anyone of any note.
