Come On...

A short while ago Steve Lansdown made comments along the line of "our fans are getting better but there's still more education to do". We now here again from Gary Johnson that "we haven't played our part".

What worries me about this is that whilst I do believe there's a degree of truth in both comments, this will only cause rifts and negative reaction between the fans and management?

After the Ipswich disaster, there's been a couple of weeks to study the videos and to sort things out? And yet yesterday, we never looked like we wanted it at all and their heads were down right from the start? On the back of losses and a seeming lack of desire, it was inevitable that the place was quiet?

Add to this statements along the lines of a quiet January transfer window and where does that leave us? We are carrying passengers at this level and undoubtedly, we are lacking strength in depth - Johnson, McCoombe, Orr, Trundle? We are playing against many players who have made it in the Premier League and if we are serious about staying and hopefully progressing, we need to start investment in quality?

Steve L / Gary J - please lead by example and keep us all together - we don't have a great club without each other. There are positive ways of asking for vocal support and criticism can only make matters worse...!?

Interesting Steve L, Ashley at Newcastle joins the fans and joins in with the singing - when was the last time you considered this? We could do with a new cheer-leader in the Atyeo!?
