Gaffer
I thought these were interesting comments at the time, but in light of last night's apparent deserved sending off, this should come back and bite him on the arse."I wont mellow. That's just the way i play. But to be fair most of my yellow cards have come from dissent or pushing an opponent. I need to curb that, but tackling wise i wouldn't ever change the way i play."I tell you what Jamie, how about you do change the way you play and perhaps you'll not be suspended so often! Gaffer
and maybe roy keane and paul scholes should of changes the way they tackled so they would of had better careers That's a poor comparison. Both tough tackling centre midfield players, not ball playing left backs. Plus, it's not as if he's puts in a lot of challenges as it is, just loads of petulant bookings. I like Jamie, but those comments don't help his cause!
samo
From the Offical site;Neither of his (Jamie Mac's) bookings last night are added to his card count tally, as they are superseded by the red card.Good news, as it means he's that bit further from another ban when he gets back from this one!
