Plymouth railway station is about one and a half miles away, so either grab a cab (£3) or embark on the 20 minute walk. As you come out of the station turn right and down the hill and under the railway bridge. Just keep walking straight along this road and you will eventually reach the ground on your right.

I remember going there one bank holiday years ago, train pulled into station on the middle track :noexpression: coppers with dogs allover the place, too many in ground / trouble did not want anymore :disapointed2se: hundreds of fans ran the gauntlet up the hill to the ground took about 5 minutes

Was that mid 80's-ish?

Certainly remember one game at Home Park when there was trouble in the ground before kick-off and our end was already more or less full when the word got round that a further trainload had been turned away. Then alot more City fans turned up soon after kick-off.

The game was even stopped at one stage when a full scale riot broke out and Trevor Morgan and other City players were picking coins up in the 18 yard box with huge grins on their faces. :noexpression:

I'm pretty sure City lost and we got soaked in the open end as it didn't stop tipping down all afternoon. :badmood:

All in all a miserable day. :(

I swear it was on the website, all those on the trains are getting a police escort. Not certain though.
\i certainly hope not as I'm on the 6.48 train and don't fancy getting in the stadium at half 9.

I was on that train. We arrived a bit late and the fuzz tried to tell us that it had been postponed due to rain. Unfortunately some lad had a radio and was listening to the game LIVE! "How comes we're losing 1-0 then"That was it loads disembarked ran across the tracks and up the hill!
