fanjita
Is anyone else of the same opinion as me that yesterdays kit looked terrible, with red shirts and black shorts, what's wrong with the red shorts, can someone tell me if there was a reason for this. Dannycidered03
The kit would clash with plymouths, White and green shorts (we have white and red shorts and socks) with white and green socks therefore we had to change to black.Hope that clears things up for you

BristolCity4Life84
No,, I am asking why we could not wear red shorts.I think having red shorts wouldn`t have looked as good as having black shorts. I will say i prefer our normal white shorts. But they would`ve clashed with Plymouth`s.
Lordofthebling
We do not have red shorts in any of our kits this season. Our home kit is red shirt, white shorts, away kit is all black. Plymouth play in green shirts and white shorts, so we had to change our shorts and socks in order to avoid the clash.
RedM
And on the radio they were stressing that they would never again wear the white shirts/ grey shorts combo due to it being so unlucky at Ipswich recently!Left us with little choice really as the Plymouth green looked almost black! greenun
So how come we had to change our kit at Ipswich, yet when we played them at home the other day Ipswich used their normal blue home kit?Because they had blue shorts to avoid clashing with our white. However, I can't understand why we didn't wear our all-black away kit in the Portman Road clash last month. An earlier poster did suggest it was because Ipswich's blue and our black would clash - which sounds fainty ridiculous if you consider the standard refereeing kit is black. Its all bloody confusing. :noexpression:
