PhatWill
The factor that was most prelevant in City's comfortable win over QPR on Saturday was the attitude and discipline of the players. No Doherty throwing his toys out of the pram (ala Wycombe away), no big mistakes at the back, and complete professionalism when defending against set pieces. These solid perfomances against the top sides have been the best thing about this season. But WHY haven't we been able to maintain this level of professionalism against the crxp sides? Its all the more odd when you consider that traditionally under Wilson we have always managed to beat the poorer side but have had difficulty playeing against better teams. I remember that one season where we only beat one team in the top 6 all season I think. And last season we had no problem against lower opposition. Yet this season - 7 points off the top 2 already (set to rise to 10!) and we can boast wins against Swine Town and Brighton. So, why the change is performance level and attitude for the big games?
