Nibor
Over now.Nothing out of the ordinary really...Same point about any players that come in needing to be right on & off the field and not upset the dressing room and that the players we have got us where we are now - "if I bring in that £1m/£2m player are they any better than what we have?".Said that the chairman gave a few interviews this week saying we will push for the Premiership so he phoned him up after hearing that and asked him for a couple of things.Interestingly he was asked about the attendances and seemed very aware of the figures and positive about the support and relationship with the fans. WhistleHappy
Saw SL interview on the BBCWest news at teatime ... He's got one eye firmly on the Premiership now (the other eye was full of £££ signs ) Hoping for Bristol City to emulate the likes of Wigan / Reading & make a real go of it if we get there - although if we did happen to go up & come back down again he'd also welcome the parachute payments which would fund another big attempt... Sounded genuinely optimistic & realistically ambitious. (realistic erm, yeah maybe except when talking about our current (perhaps unexpected) third place in this seasons Championship he went on to say that's the joy of football, anything can happen, who's to say we wont be THIRD IN THE PREMIERSHIP this time next year? ...hmm calm down Steve,... calm down!! )
