Tenyards
The Great God Gary tells us to take 10 games at a time. In the first 10 games we got 17 points. In the second 10 games we got 17 points. We have now played nine games more...and got another 17 points. So even a defeat at QPR would see us being consistent throughout the season....getting 1 or 3 points next Saturday would show that the team is actually improving! Guest zider_head
You could also have a hard 10 games in a short space of time i.e xmas and new year or a easy spreadout 10 games i guess

Teams taking points off of each other will help , exciting times me thinks .

In past seasons I have always thought that you need to stay within six points of the top team and when there are six games to go you can work out what is needed to be promoted....we are doing that as well...prefer to look up rather than back at the seventh place...but hey as long as we are "in the mix" that is all that matters at this stage. Nibor
This is possibly the easiest block of 10 we will have this season in terms of fixtures on paper, but we will have suffered without Carey for half of them come the end. We're already "in credit" in that we have a game in which to improve on previous blocks of 10, and there is probably no better time to be playing QPR what with them completely unsettling their entire squad as they try to buy their way out of relegation. The next block of 10 looks quite tough with a few crunch games.FebruarySat 9 H Sheffield WedTue 12 A S****horpeMon 18 H Crystal PalaceSat 23 A ColchesterMarchSat 1 H Hull CityTue 4 A CharltonSat 8 A Leicester CityTue 11 H WatfordSat 15 H PlymouthSat 22 A Cardiff CityHowever, we will be strengthened by the addition of Nick Carle and hopefully the return of Carey and Brooker and maybe another signing or two up front. I wouldn't bet against us winning 4 of those home games, and getting a result or two on the road.

Luke
We just need to take each game as it comes and look back after 10 games, if we get 17 points every ten amazing, if we don't its not like we're going down
