Kibs
Id like to see a partnership of Carey and Vasko, he could learn alot from playing with Carey and at the moment, deserves his place in the team.
Guest zider_head
Whose to say Carey will get his place back automaticlly ?We have 4 center backs in McCombe, Vakso, Fonts and Carey all going for 2 places in the current formation
Lang BCFC
i think that i should be vasko a bit of international experiance at the back. although he does lack a bit of pace, still quality though.
mutley147
I don't feel we should put him back in as soon as he's fit. The other defenders are doing really well at the moment and it would be unfair on them to simply replace them when they've done little wrong. Just wait for one of the defenders to have a mare or make a few mistakes and then ease him in in their place.
Will Rollason
Fontaine. Quick, good on ball, fill in at left back.
Bristol Boy
Fontaine, based on his performances all season.I'd be surprised if GJ changes it on Saturday even if LC is fit.
Parfitt
I guess the other centre backs have been very good espically Vasko but i think we might just need Carey 1 as a captain and 2 to hold the defence together but it would be a shame to see any of the other 3 centre backs get dropped
Im_over_ere
How about LC going to RB and giving Orr a rest?
Parfitt
Maybe give it a try but recently i have been very impressed with Orr and it would be a shame to see him not at RB although he could do with a rest but would GJ play Wilson there if he were to be rested ? bringbacktherobin
Carey isnt a right back, i wouldnt be happy with him playing at right back.
Chivs
Fontaine, based on his performances all season.I'd be surprised if GJ changes it on Saturday even if LC is fit.I agree with BB on both counts.I was surprised Fontaine didn't play Saturday. I don't know about the QPR forwards but if they have a nippy one Fontaine may come back as I don't think McCombe or Vasko are exactly blessed with pace. myol'man
you never know with GJ,he may decide to give 3-5-2 a try and play Carey/Vasko/Fontainewith Orr and McCallister as wing backsCarle/Johnson/Elliot in the middlewith Dazza and Magic Daps up front
Downend2005
no question, it should be fontaine.vasko has done well enough, mccombe hasn't really convinced this season, whereas fontaine has done particularly well all season.one of our "unsung heroes" if you like. dezgimed
IMO its absurd to contemplate leaving Carey out when fit.Lets be honest McCombe for all his effort/gradual improvement isnt fit to tie Louis' boots!Lets not forget how awsome Captain has been for us this season. Nibor
IMO its absurd to contemplate leaving Carey out when fit.Agree, he is the most important player in the side.I'd give Vasko a run alongside him, he is coming on in leaps and bounds. Fonts on the bench or left back.I really don't want to see Carey right back though.
