O_Faz
After playing near enough 3 hours solid football, my legs have seized up and I find myself rolling around on the floor in agony. Has anyone got any suggestions as to how to get rid of it? Cheers guys (Back to the floor in pain)

Cheers guys (Back to the floor in pain) Lie on the floor with your legs up against a wall for half an hour. it may be too late for that though. Guest Orj
Cramps can be related to a low salt intake so eating something with a bit of salt in it probably won't do you any harm.
eggdaps
i assume you are heeding my advice as you cannot reply when upsidown!
cheshire_red
When I used to get it after a hard game of rugby (usually on a muddy pitch) a long soak in a very hot bath usually did the trick. alternating between feet up on the edge and then fully submerged. Guest Orj
O_Faz, please don't try all 3 remedies at the same time. I am conjuring up images of you with your head submerged in a very hot bath, with your legs going up the wall by the taps, trying to munch your way through a salty chicken sandwich. O_Faz
Thanks for the advice guys. Cramps thankfully gone, although the bolognese sauce with a large helping of salt didn't taste too good. Might make it up the stairs now Orj - I haven't attempted the stairs as yet as a bout of cramp there might see me end up down the bottom again. cheshire_red
Actually thinking on, it was probably the gallon and a half of beer which usually did the trick for me!!

It did earlier today!
Guest Orj
touch your toes whilst fully stretching your back leg muscles How do you know the cramps aren't in his front legs?
Cooter
How do you know the cramps aren't in his front legs? I'd find it very odd if they were!
O_Faz
I'm getting em in both my front and back legs - It's agony. God know's what women must go through during child birth! They have my respect. Legs extended at least 4 foot above my head now.. Would Hillario like a drinking duel?!
Guest Orj
Apparently, childbirth isn't that painful, it's just a myth created in a crafty conspiracy by women to get a bit of sympathy. Stubbing your little toe whilst searching for the lightswitch, now THAT'S pain.
bcfc seattle
you can releive some of the pressure by pulling up on your big toe (it stretches the tendons in your calve) also stay hydrated and keep you potasium count high try bananas and gatorade or something
O_Faz
Catching your Crown Jewel in the zipper isn't nice either. The screams where heard down the end of the street. Anyway I'm going to attempt the stairs. Nice knowing you all...
