LoyalRed Posted January 30, 2008 Report Share Posted January 30, 2008 Ok, I know the answer to that, but we are 2nd in the league without a prolific goalscorer as Gary Johnson gets the team to play consistently as a unit and not a team of individual players. Grinding out 1-0 wins is fine by me.. and its got us to 2nd in the league!Look at Cardiff, JFH and Fowler with a handful of goals between them. Only now that Fowler is injured are they starting to win games and climb the league. All the other championship teams have been so inconsistent and although we do occasionally get hammered it puts us back on a good run.The season is beyond belief for any City fan at the moment! Congrats to Gary Johnson and the whole squad for a superb season so far. If we get a new striker in then thats great, if we don't then the players we have have shown us already that they can win the games, so just keep it up!
