Physically big for a lad of 18 and with a bit of grooming who knows. However Johno said in his World piece following the transfer window, would it be fair on the lads(Garner & Vokes) to bring them to a club where they will probably be in the ressies to start off with. always hoping Posted February 9, 2008 Report Share Posted February 9, 2008 Vokes a good young player a full pro at Bournmouth not loan. He is physical and has an eye for goal. Not the quickest but is learning his trade. Fair to say that if he did join us he would be playing in the reserve team for at least a season. As for early 1st team opportunities, probably has the similar chancess to making an appearance as Artus & Ribeiro. Knowing that he may want to stay at a club where he can continue to gain 1st team experience.Suggest that City will continue to track his development. Definately one to watch.
