Thought the Youth team played very well against a top Man city side. For best part of an hour we were the better side. They had some class players with no. 7, 6 and of course 10 standing out.

Strurridge is a top England player, but was kept quite for most of the match. Only coming into the game when we had to change formation and push on to try and win the game. This combined with some tiring lags gave him the space and time to show what is he is all about. Which top class with potential to become a World class player, must be worth £5 -10M already.

Credit to our team we had a number of players who also showed they were a little special on the night. Plummer had one of his best games for some time. Stern was a revelation, Kington showed what quality he has and Ribeiro must be in GJ 's thinking for a 1st team call up.

Well done the City, John Clayton was rightly very proud of what you achieved and I'm sure the crowd appreciated an exciting evening of football which was a credit to the Club.

Good luck next year.

don't agree with much of that!

9 was one of their better players, Ball. Scored 2, should have had a hattrick but was brought down last man

Sturidge is nowhere near the England team? He is class though.

Worth £5-£10 million? Get a grip!

I would hope GJ is not even considering calling up Ribeiro to the first team, why change our defense at this crucial time in the season? We need stability not radical change!

Have to admire the crowd, gave a lot of support and even clapped the Man City goals, though to be fair, you couldnt NOT clap Sturridge's strikes!
