It made me remember Tinman the legend -i know in Gary we trust and he's a fantastic manager but wouldnt it have been great if he had taken us up or if he had not been jettisoned to top job but coached as an assistant under a good manager.

i know this has been done to death but he was a legend and a few of the younger fans and people who have started supporting city in the last two years probably only know him for his managerial tenure, and not the other 11 years of solid service and some cracking goals (free kick v cambridge against lionel pirez!) and the fact he was a bloody good bloke, always would stop for a chat.

Aye to that. A note for for your diary; the legend will be 40 on Saturday 23rd February. Which makes him 2 days younger than me.

Sorry to be picky but the free kick against cambridge wasn't against perez he was sent off for handball outside the box thats how the kick was awarded. However what a goal :city:
