this was a great game of passing football, a credit to both sides. man city started the best and when the ist goal went in we expecting the flood gates to open. but city fought back and scored a fantastic break a way goal which carved open the manchester defence. 10 mins later we were awarded a penalty when the keeper brought our boy down, it was a clear sending off offence but he got away with it, i don't care if they are kids, they still deserve to be sent off. the penalty crept home via the goalkeeper and city were well on top. 2-1 up and cruising, and after we hit the post it seemed just a matter of time before we scored again, then unfortunately half time came. man city came back in to the game in the 2nd half playing some lovely football, but city always looked dangerous on the break. then after an hour our left back went missing, and man city exploited this very well, and attacked down their right hand side at every opportunity. city were now wilting under the pressure and could not hold out. daniel sturridge who is supposed to be their star player did nothing for 80 mins, but scored manchesters last 2 goals, his 2nd goal was pure class which had most of the 4000 crowd clapping. man city wound the clock down by falling over at any contact and wasting time at free kicks. but it was a great game and city can be proud of their efforts.
