ciderapple
Ive been working up in the Potteries and went with a few locals to both their matches this weekend .You must understand in a scouting capacity only. It really was a game of two halves last night Stoke looked nervous first half.Anyone who tells you Stoke are just long ball specialists are in for a shock.Yes they are very ,very good at set pieces but i didnt see that much long ball at either game in fact all the goals came through good moves last night with Fuller and Lawrence very good.Talking to the Stoke fans hey scored some very good goals at Wolves also.Trust me their a very decent side. But not as good as us Oh and the crowd were rather noisy and intimadating its a rough area. They may not be the prettiest side but it doesn't matter too much. Also the comment about scoring goals from set pieces is interesting. At one point I think we scored 7 consective goals from set pieces and have relied on them heavily.
