Philip Belgrave Posted February 24, 2008 Report Share Posted February 24, 2008 It was officially announced today that Australia is poised to make a bid to host the 2018 World Cup.The scheme is being backed at both State and Federal level and has even received the blessing of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.By that time, at the present rate of improvement, the Australian National Team should have improved to such an extend that we even may be serious contenders.
