Not having a decent frontline striker with just an average strike rate has proven our down fall. Rightly or wrongly Danny Wilson stuck with fellow Northerner and off form striker Lee Peacock as our main striker. If we're still stuck in this poxy division next season then we need to find and buy a decent striker it seems. Problem is we've got a rubbish record for finding decent strikers under Danny Wilson. Cider red Posted April 10, 2004 Report Share Posted April 10, 2004 Its not our year , we have been unlucky on numerous occasions and we wont go up through the playoffs , plymuff will probably beat us on tuesday and go up , qpr are almost there now and if they win on monday they will almost be up too , its so depressing when we've got a much better team than plymuff. The poor form has more to do with Danny Wilson continually picking him when he should be rested.
