SimplyRed
I have a friend who is a supervisor steward at Charlton. He tells me that they were expecting 1500 to turn up and only opened the bottom tier. But a further 900 turned up to PoD and they had to print extra tickets! They also had to open the top tier.So I guess it's a semi-official 2,400.He was very impressed with our support and, apart from the usual few numpties who have too much to drink and get themselves arrested or ejected, said we were generally very well-behaved and in good spirits. Was not concerned in the slightest about the flare. He had a chuckle and said he found it amusing that when their guy went out to retireve it from the pitch, our lot were singing "Throw it back, throw it back, throw it back!" Is that true?
