However we get a fair mention also, for the matter who would have guessed that Bristol City would be leading in March. Unbelievable! but that is the beauty of the Championship. You know even before the start of the season that the winners of the top-flight Premier League are going to come from one of three or four teams.You can't say that about the Championship sides in the league below,which will be a close-run thing right up to the final whistle of the season.But I am one of those who has been saying all along that the gap between the Premier League and the Championship is not massive.People keep expecting Bristol City to fall away but they are still there,setting the pace.It's wonderfully unpredictable.Anyone can beat anyone else and that is what makes it so enthralling.The champagne football might be in the Premier League,but if you want really exciting competition the Championship takes some beating.
