Beamback Option - Southampton (merged Topics)

CS has said that they are considering this due to the speed the Saints match sold out. high demand for tickets etc.

Presumably he's not considered it for the Cardiff game because 100 tickets are still left and therefore - the club assume - the game hasn't created as much interest as the Saints game.

Sorry Colin - the Cardiff game is the one we all want to see, we just don't want to sit on a coach for 8 hours and be bullied and batoned by S.Wales Finest Riot Police.

If Cardiff had unlimited capacity and no travel restrictions then we would have sold over 10,000 tickets.

One day Colin - the penny will drop and it will all fall into place, until then you are struggling with this whole football fan thing arn't you, old chap......

This may be a stupid question but what does the "BEAMBACK OPTION" mean for Southampton? What is it?

Cheers

The club will organise a live feed from St. Mary's to Ashton Gate so that those without tickets can watch the game live with other city fans. May just be watching it in the bars or could be a giant screen on the pitch.

Often costs a lot so won't make much £ but if costs can be covered it's a great way to watch the game for fans.

Whats more important, City beating Southampton or fans watching the Beamback and City losing? We always seem to lose when theres a beamback !

I thought about this when we sold out so quickly and I would probably go down the gate to watch it live but they need to sort the beer out down there, its terrible!

They should charge £10 each but bring your own beer!
