myol'man
Bradley Orr lost his place to Brian Wilson for 3 games due to suspension. Wilson did a good job and added to our attacking options, after 3 games Orr gets the right back position back, Wilson gets pushed forward then dropped. Today Orr had his worst game of the season. My question is " what did Wilson do wrong to lose the right back role"?
si_aston
He had a mare for 45 last week playing at right midfield, as everyone knows. And Bradley's been first choice all season, so he wasn't going to go straight back there when Bradders had a decent game against Plymouth. But, since he was piss poor at Cardiff I'd be surprised if he keeps his place next week, based on GJ's philosophy.
cheshire_red
For me he isn't a right back, I saw him at leicester and he was just not strong enough in the tackle and got turned / spun easily. Also weak in the air compared to Orr.

I don't think B Wilson did much wrong to be honest, but Bradley has been RB for 30 odd of the games and has played pretty well this season (still lacks the ability to cross though). Anyway, what I'm concerned about is how much the line-up and the formation has changed over the last 6 games. I know we have got injuries and suspensions occur, but why keep playing about with it. One week Wilson plays, the next Sproule, one week byfield starts, the next trundle one week Fontaine starts, the next Vasko. Oh, and lets just chuck Noble in for one game, and then never to be seen again? IMO we play best 4-5-1. I know its not the most attacking, but it suits our game. We are never going to score lots of goals so why not play a formation we have been successful with? A formation, we know, a formation which offers a bit of protection? Consistency will be the key for the final 6 games.
Abraham Romanovich
When I first read this I thought it was a thread about Danny Wilson. A natural mistake I on the other hand thought it was a political piece based on the Labour Government of the early sixties.
