Brooker

I thought he was the best player on the pitch (for us) and like others, thought he should have started. Maybe a bit isolated but he was determined to win everything.

Is exactly what we need to be looking to.

Wants to play, wants to get involved, in form, looks like scoring etc etc

A fit and angry Elliott and Brooker is what should be starting vs Wolves.

Couldn't get there yesterday, how did he look after all his time out ?

He gave it a go, and tried hard and looked the most likely perhaps occasionaly with McIndoe to make something happen. Has one good hard shot across the goal that was blocked.

But he had no service, like Adelbola and was made to forage off long balls and scraps. The most worrying aspect of City's play of late is that the creativity and guile has gone. The players are clearly under pressure and resulting to long ball, a sign of a lack of confidence.

As GJ says the players have got to trust in their training and get back to a psssing game. It is what has got City this far, but my opinion is that more players must run past the guy on the ball and create space and passing oportunities. To many are sat in deep possions and not supporting the font man / men. Resulting in them being isolated and all this achieves is giving the ball straight back to the other team. So on this basis it would have been very difficult for who ever played up fron yesterday.
