martin
Shame we didn't win today but we are still there and the next week promises to throw up some twists and turns. Look at these key fixtures over the next 10 days and tell me seriously that you can predict accurately what will happen. For the record here's my views: Tuesday, 15 April 2008 Barnsley v Hull, 19:45 BARNSLEY TO WIN Wolverhampton v West Brom, 19:45 WOLVES TO WIN Saturday, 19 April 2008 Barnsley v Leicester, 15:00 Blackpool v Sheff Wed, 15:00 Colchester v Coventry, 15:00 Norwich v West Brom, 15:00 NORWICH TO WIN Plymouth v Preston, 15:00 QPR v Charlton, 15:00 S****horpe v Cardiff, 15:00 Sheff Utd v Hull, 15:00 SHEFFIELD UTD TO WIN Southampton v Burnley, 15:00 Stoke v Bristol City, 17:20 CITY TO SURPRISE EVRYONE AND WIN! Watford v Crystal Palace, 15:00 PALACE TO WIN Wolverhampton v Ipswich, 15:00 OK a 6 match accumulator. What are the odds? I do believe this is achieveable. City have to win sometime, why not in the biggest match of ythe season so far for them? Why not when everyone thinks they have blown it? The answer: this is Bristol City and they NEVER do things easy! I for one will continue to hope (believe!) Watch out for Reasons to be cheerful PART 2 and 3 later this week! BCAGFC
Come on people, seriously how many people actually mean this 'I believe' nonsense, I certainly don't I live in the real world where BCFC haven't scored in I don't know how many games this season and probably won't score again this season. Why would things suddenly change?, Steve Brooker can't do it on his own (although he had a good go at it today). I know WBA only drew tonight but look at the quality of their play around the box, we haven't got anywhere near that this season. BCAGFC

BCAGFC
How have we been top and around top for the whole season then? Good bye, please leave our happy thread!! There was no pressure on us in February, the players have proved in the last 8 games that they can;t handle it and I wish I could stay and contribute to this happy thread but I am being realistic. If you want some Prozac when we get knocked out of the play offs in the first round (without scoring a goal) then you know where to come. cheshire_red
I'd say a £5 accumulator on those results would bring in a tidy sum. Anyone who bets on more than triples is silly, the bookies love em. However, it can still be done if we reproduce our form of a few months ago.
