greenun
....change the words of the following Welsh Choral Classic! What! You've never heard of it? Well, you've heard VERSIONS like "Sing your hearts out for the lads" and for fans of One Foot In The Grave, a brilliant cover by Eric Idle in the episode where Victor, Margaret and Mrs Warboys are stuck in his car in a bank holiday motorway gridlock. Victor has just had the car returned following repair and the mechanics surprise him with a special cassette tribute. Anyhow, I digress, here are the words, enjoy. Bread of Heaven Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim through this barren land. I am weak, but Thou art mighty; Hold me with Thy powerful hand. Bread of heaven, bread of heaven, Feed me now and ever more Feed me now and ever more

elko
better welsh song: MEN OF HARLECH Men of Harlech, march to glory, victory is hov'ring o're ye, Bright-eyed freedom stands before ye, hear ye not her call? At your sloth she seems to wonder, rend the sluggish bonds asunder, Let the warcry's deaf'ning thunder ev'ry foe appal. Echoes loudly waking hill and valley shaking: Till the sound spreads wide around, the Saxon's courage breaking: Your foes on ev'ry side assailing, forward press with heart unfailing, Till invaders learn with quailing, Cambria ne'er can yield. Thou who noble Cambria wrongest know that freedom's cause is strongest Freedom's courage lasts the longest, ending but with death! Freedom countless hosts can scatter, freedom stoutest mail can shatter, Freedom thickest walls can batter, fate is in her breath. www.castlewales.com/menhar.html has a midi if you don't know the tune.
