Firstly, it's Mike Riley in the middle for the televised clash, so far this season he's mainly reffed Premier League games and European Cup games, so a big name for a massive game. The last time we were graced by his presence, Jevons scored both in a 2-0 win at Brighton.

Now onto the stats, they put this game down as likely to be close:

Stoke Last 10

Home Wins - 1

Home Draws - 2

Home losses - 1

Away Wins - 2

Away Draws - 2

Away Losses - 2

Goals For - 8

Goals Against - 11

GD - (minus)3

Home Goals For - 4

Home Goals Against - 4

Total of 13 points in their last 10 games, 5 at home.

City Last 10

Home Wins - 2

Home Draws - 2

Home losses - 1

Away Wins - 1

Away Draws - 2

Away Losses - 2

Goals For - 10

Goals Against - 10

GD - 0

Away Goals For - 4

Away Goals Against - 6

Total of 13 points in our last 10 games, 5 away.

Both teams would be looking at a 60 points total if the last 10 match figures were applied to the whole season, its so close you could hardly get a fag paper between us.

So what will it come down to Saturday, skill & guile or plain and simple, nerve and bottle, with Hull & West Brom playing Saturday, the players will know if the top two slipped up or widened the gap.

Another useless bit of info:

Stokes 4 home goals have come at: 42, 47, 87 & 90 (pen) minutes.

City's 4 home goals have come at: 52, 58, 62 & 73 minutes.

So beware of Stoke either side of halftime and right at the end, whilst we have our 'golden' spell in the middle of the second half.
