Ealing Robin
God knows where he is and why we let him go was a winger who could score goals and will always be rembered in my eyes for THAT goal against hartlepool
bh_red
ok as a sub scored a few goals overall though was rubbish, was a weak player beyond belief and terrible whenever he started, another duff one we got sent to us by pulis currently playing non league at Burton Albion
johnheadbcfc
Being a youngish city fan that game was the "remember that day" game for me Goodfellow with that salmon-like header and roberts winner the stuff heart attacks are made of! DC Red
According to Wikipedia... ...Burton Albion!!! Marc Goodfellow (born September 20, 1981) is a professional football player who currently plays for Burton Albion F.C.. Marc started his playing career with Stoke City. After 4 years at the Britannia Stadium he transferred to Bristol City for £50,000 where he did not feature heavily. Following loans to Colchester United, Port Vale and Swansea City, he finally made Swansea his permanent club in the summer of 2005. Following 13 appearances in the 2005/2006 season, Goodfellow left League One club Swansea to join Grimsby Town. In the summer of 2006 Marc joined Bury on a free transfer before leaving in November 2006. He signed for Burton Albion F.C. in January 2007. cheshire_red
I saw him play recently in an evening game against the Sponge's. He is originally from Burton on Trent.
robins72
goodfellow was technically a good player. His career took a downslide when he had alot of problems off the field. Shame really but he will be remembered for that goal against Hartlepool in the play-offs in 2004
BristolCity1992
He was decent and scored a fair few decent goals in his time here. Shame its gone down the pan for him. don't really think it has gone down the pan bet he still earns a decent wage and playing at a higher level of football than most on here have. I would swap. BASSO
I was talking about him the other night and I had no idea what had happened to him. I am surprised he can't find a league club to play for. Burton are in the conference play offs so maybe he will do something similar for them. BCFC_Dan
He was terrible and Wilson wasted a lot of money on him when Michael McIndoe or Paul Parry would have been available for a lot less.

Andy Horsman
He was terrible and Wilson wasted a lot of money on him when Michael McIndoe or Paul Parry would have been available for a lot less. Harsh, but true.Apart from that cameo vs Hartlepool, I can't think of too many vintage moments in a City shirt. Always reminded me of a foal, little, lightweight and hoping he would develop into a racehorse.Made Ivan look robust!! Has probably found his level like Clist.
