Pie Eater
http://www.nexwebsites.com/Members/mb/Cors...ssages/518.html Well it looks like it is our beloved neighbours. I was doing some research on pitch sizes and found the above thread.
Guest BrainGas
Our pitch surely isn't the smallest in the league! Cheltenham's pitch is way shorter than ours! Up the Gas!!
LSN
Seems reaslitic for your tactics. Shorter distance for you to punt the ball up field aint it.
Guest BrainGas
No, that's Atkins and his Oxford boys, we've learnt how to play on the ground now, now that the fool Graydon has gone. Up the Gas!!
fct
Was Graydoom really that unpopular? What about the general feeling when he was appointed?
cheshire_red
I believe that Arsenal's is the narrowest in the League, imagine what they will do to opposition full backs when they move to Ladbroke Grove!
EastEnder
Makes the ground (NOT stadium - I may add) look bigger
Nogbad the Bad
Was Graydoom really that unpopular? What about the general feeling when he was appointed? He was the returning Messiah, just like Fatty Francis. I don't care actually, it's just so good to see a thread with 'Greydoom' back in it. This forum hasn't been the same since Dungturd and Doom Laden fell out and went their separate ways. Dung Turd. Grey Doom. Ah, that's more like it. little un
The pitch will still qualify for the conference as will the GROUND even though it may be the only rugby ground.
elko
Arsenal's is one of the shortest, one reason they score so many goals is because once the striker is away from the defender, they have no time to catch up.
Reds
Smallest pitch Smallest fan base Smallest prospects Down the Gas!!
Guest BrainGas
Was Graydoom really that unpopular? What about the general feeling when he was appointed? When Graydon came it was like the second coming but then Graydon was the fans' choice. He had done well at Walsall and was an ex-player for us, the board had listened to the fans and appointed who they wanted, Gerry Francis and "Greydoom", we seem to get it wrong and now they've appointed (?) Aktins if that ever goes ahead. (Stupid decision I must say appointing someone for the END of the season). Although at the moment Osman and Broadhurst are doing a good job. Keep them on if they keep us up. Up the Gas!!
Guest Rob
Back to pitch sizes i always thought Crewe's was tiny but this may just be down to the small surroundings.
