Percy Parrot
can some people clear up an argument between me and my brother? I won't tell you which way I argued in case I am wrong!!! How many seasons of 2 divisions have we had so far in cricket? How many of those seasons have Somerset been in div 1/2 of 4 day and 1 day? Do Somerset ever play in Bristol? How often do they play away from Taunton and where? many thanks Prove me right!

O_Faz
How many seasons of 2 divisions have we had so far in cricket? I think since the 2001 season that the National Cricket League (1-day) and County Champs (4-day) split into 2 divs of 9. 10 play in Division 2 of the national league where Scotland are now part of the set-up. As for Zummerset, the useless West-country team, they were in the First division of the county champs in 2001, then got relegated and have been there ever since (and will be this year). In 1 Day stuff they have been I think they may have in division 1 for a season, but now reside in division 2. Somerset only play the mighty mighty Gloucestershire in Bristol, and usually lose. They do play one game a season in the depths of Bath, however, as a festival. They play every team in their league twice, once home and away so they play away from Taunton 8 times in both leagues (16 in total) but may also play away in both the C+G trophy and the Twenty/20 Cup. And yes I do know that I'm a sad b@stard
