I must be missing something, you see if I were to post this on this section of the forum which is named 'FOOTBALL' chat i would be shot down. Since when did train sets become part of football chat?

See if they can supply some red airfix paint as part of the deal. Problem sorted.

That class of locos spentmostof their life in red. For the war years they were painted black and as an experiment in the 1950s wore blue as did some GWR "Castles" & "Kings" The experiment was seen as a failure and the Coronation class including City of Bristol reverted to red.

I can only assume that model is in blue as the manufacturers hope people will buy it as a novelty item.
