Well that's funny because the rugby boys of the New Zealand and USA Research Bases play an annual match on Boxing Day at McMurdo Sound. Saw the marked out pitch on the ice, also used for the aircraft to land. Apparently the longest running win sequence in an international rugby game!

Bit soft the football boys if they call it off.

I'm reminded of that classic Alas Smith & Jones sketch where they discuss the effects of the next Ice age.
