A load of old ball! (Merged)

Anyone read the Daily Mail article about Pep Guardiola complaining about the balls being used in the Carabao Cup?

Says the balls are too light and all the players are complaining. It’s the same ball used in Championship, League One and League Two. Maybe this is the reason why we are beating all these Premier League teams this season?!

What a **** he is.

Perhaps he should spend more time trying to stop his players diving to win penalties like they did against Burnley on Saturday.

Having spent over £220m this summer (and God knows how much last year) we will still have to hear what a "great" manager he is, even though he has the resources of one of the richest (corrupt) countries on the planet at his disposal.

Modern football, eh?

Tw*t!

Didn't stop us scoring 4

The EFL has defended the ball used in the Carabao Cup after criticism from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola said it was "impossible" to score after his side's fourth-round winover Championship leaders Wolves on penalties on Tuesday.

The ball used in the tournament is manufactured by Mitre.

"We will look to engage with Mr Guardiola and Manchester City to fully understand any concerns in advance of their round five tie"

Cue Man City being allowed to bring their own ball to the quarter finals.

As Flint scores in the 56th minute to make it 2-0 Guardiola walks onto the pitch, grabs the ball and goes home.

At a press conference after their next league game his actions are questioned.

"It was too dark and I had to go home for tea, why are they making us play games when it is dark? This isn't fair."

Deflection tactics. They all have to be a certain weight don't they ? Saying some of the best players in Europe can't play with a different ball :rofl2br:pathetic

There is an anomaly within the rules regarding panels. The more panels a ball has the more stable it is in the air. The less the more it will swerve. I am not saying that was the difference, if there was one at all, but its It's hard to impossible to knuckle an old style ball (up to thirty two panels).

So if all the 'lower league' teams play better with the ball as they are more used to it, why are we the only non Premiership club left?!!!

Also if the 'lower league' teams are deemed to have an advantage in this competition in Pep's eyes, what happens in the FA Cup when I think the Premiership type ball is used?!!!

Everyone should be made to play with an Adidas Tango....proper footie.

In fact, boll0x to that, Mitre Multiplexes all round, pumped up so hard that keepers can’t reach the half way line.

Or is it a typo????

KDB - Kevin de Bruyne - talented footballer - given a week he can adapt to any modern football.

Only one thing needs to be said

"Pep, in a trophy competing the 92 best league teams, the last 8 consist of 4 of the current top 5 in the top League. Shut up you absolute moron!"
