DeBruyne & Jesus injuries

Recommended Posts

DeBruyne carries off on stretcher latebin Palace game after scandalous challenge by Puncheon (Also carried off - karma)

and Jesus went off early in game in tears

Hopefully two we won’t be facing

They are down to the bare bones and there for the taking

Only reason Jesus was in tears. Was because he’s missing the two biggest games of his career

Think they will be playing many young players at their place. We have a real chance to get a result up there. Pep was talking about how tough it would be to compete in 4 different competitions. Which is something I think we can appreciate a bit more now. So yea, makes me think he will play a very young side and take his chances knowing there is a second leg to get the job done with better players if need be.

Been says by it for ages.

As far as Premier league sides go that are unbeaten all season, 14 points clear at the new year and with some of the best players in the world...Man Blue are bang average.

Only problem might be if these injuries means they decide to stump up for the likes of Sanchez now - could free up Ageuro for the cups, which is a pretty terrifying through...

Christ has told his mother, Christ he’s told her not to bother, cause he can’t play ‘gainst the City, cause he’s been carried out the ground.....he’s just hanging around.

The challenge on DeBruyne was shocking. No other word to describe it. Should have got a straight red.

Saw DeBrunye back on his feet being supported by two staff so thankfully his leg isn't broken.

Although Aguero is world class he's quite a small guy so coming up against Flint and Baker and even Wright will be tough for him.

Don't think so. Aguero comes up against much big guys and better defenders than Flint, Baker and Wright pretty regularly. He plays to his own strengths, he won't be trying to engage in a physical battle against them.

He/She is always serious. Deadly serious that McGregor had a genuine chance of beating Mayweather too which I enjoyed.

Shaping up for repeat of the FA Cup in the 70's. Leeds Utd running away with the league,  unbeaten after 28 games since the start of the season, meet Bristol City and are defeated at home in a replay. Could history be in for a revisit?

I admire your confidence but don’t agree - he’s one of the finest forward players in the world, and if he were to play against us, he’d be one of the hardest tests I could imagine for our defence.

Big fan of our lads at the back, but Aguero is a different class to what they have previously faced.

Ibra kind of suited Flint and Baker. They were able to win the physical battle against him, although he had his moments where you could see his clear quality.

They struggled with Martial a bit and Ivan Cavaliero yesterday - both a bit more similar in style to what they'll face with Aguero. Speed, trickery and elusive movement. Will be a real test.

I certainly agree with you, I never said otherwise. Coming up against the 3 I mentioned is going to be tough, that's a fact. Our beat chance against Aguero would be to bully him and all I'm saying is we have the players to do that. Doing that for 90 minutes however will be tough.

just for laughs, the most deluded comments on here are too funny to resist. don't tell me wilbraham is better than bolasie still?? as for the freddie sears goal it didnt make a difference to out season , we stayed up and promoted few seasons after..what have you done other than win the paint trophy? and get excitied about beating man utd in quarter final? (pitch invasion really??) .......just cant wait to see all you tinpots get knocked back to reallity when man city make the final.

It’s only a tin pot cup we’ll let Man City have it this year, we’ll have the FA Cup instead.

Why are you here, really?

Whatever our chances in the league cup, they are higher than yours.

Go support a decent side, like Brighton.

He may not try to engage in a physical battle with them, but we will certainly be engaging him. We need to stop him playing to his own strengths by using our sheer physical ability at the back, play to our very own strengths and see who comes out on top.

This is all ifs and buts tho, he may not even play.

What's up mate? Not enough Emojis or Gifs in our posts for you to recognise humour in them? We don't really care about the Cup game, we are just enjoying the ride, it's just a distraction from our real aim..... to replace you lot in the Premier league.... :) :rofl2br::facepalm: (does that help?)
