I think the problem is that the owner says h e is willing to sell...but he wants any new owner to pay all the debts, settle all the bills including all creditors, HMRC, back wages and "compensate' him for all the money he's put in during his ownership. Saw an interesting article on The Athletic- on FFP. Phil Hay the author- interesting to see Leeds view on some of the transactions of grounds etc that took place in the summer. I knew Mark ‘Sooty’ Byrne at the time (who was Vice Squad’s manager, and occasional guitarist) as I played in a band with his brother. He used to mix for us occasionally and was very talented. Not me I'm afraid. A very dear friend died yesterday, one of I have been meeting up with at Rovers for 30 years or so, the way he was in the past week means it really was a happy release. I will admit to being extra pleased that we won and you lost yesterday, he was a big character and going to games will never quite be the same again. He was very loud, a bit of a pain and very funny. He hated the colour red & everything about City with a passion! I will be doing my bit to be a bit more insulting to you lot in his honour from now on
